West Virginia Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin's Message To Fellow Dems Is The Same As The Rest Of The Nation's Message To West Virginia: Drop Dead

Whoa Easy Now Fellow, Not Too Close!

West Virginia Senator and closet Democrat Joe “Just Like The Plumber” Manchin would like nothing more than to let the good people of his Mountain ‘n Mesothelioma-wracked home state know that despite that dastardly (D) after his name and the fact that he caucuses with the Senate’s “Democratic Party” because he is in fact part of the “Democratic Party,” he absolutely, positively despises all Democrats and everything they stand for, with every ounce of his flat-faced, block-headed being.

Maybe it’s just to feel better about himself?

We all remember when ol’ Joe shot a cap-and-trade bill with a freakin’ shotgun (because, ugh, gross environments!), and then conveniently forgot to show up for the Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell vote (because ugh, gross gays!), and then bashed almost every single significant piece of Democratic legislation (because ugh, sensible policies!), then started talking smack about how he may not vote for President Obama in November (because ugh blacks!).

And then 40% of Joe’s just-as-intelligent fellow West Virginia “Democrats” voted for Inmate No. 11593-051 over Barack Obama in the Democratic primary (because ugh, presidents who aren’t convicted felons!), so Joe decided he probably won’t even show up at the Democratic National Convention now (because ugh, loyalty!).

Et Tu, Manchin?

But what about all the tens of millions of dollars the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) has been shoving into his campaign for years to help him win by shitting all over the party before probably switching sides on the first day of Congress next year, as one last F you??

Say it ain’t so Joe!

“I intend to spend this fall focused on the people of West Virginia, whether that’s representing them in my official U.S. Senate duties or here at home, where I can hear about their concerns and ideas to solve the problems of this great nation,” said Manchin in a statement. “I will remain focused on bringing people together for the next generation, not the next election.”

What are you crazy or something? Don’t you know the only thing less promising in West Virginia than the Democrats is the future.
